As a family of New York based companies and individuals donje' photography, The Artists' Playground and Nichole Donje' (actor, director, coach) are committed to working in the community to affect positive social, political and economic change. We achieve these objectives through 3 initiatives:
- Volunteer
- Art
- Affordable and Free Products and Services
While we can't solve all of the world's problems, we can be part of the solution. The only way to help is to get involved, so we volunteer. We support organizations that deal directly with art, hunger, education and homelessness in New York City.
donje' photography currently provides volunteer photography services to The Food Bank for New York City, Manhattan Theatre Source, The A Train Plays and others. The Food Bank’s efforts are particularly important to us. Please visit the Food Bank for New York City and all of the organizations we support to make a donation and get involved! |
In addition, we are moving forward with plans to produce works that will directly contribute to these organizations and solutions. Our work with various non-profits will be compiled over time to document the evolving effects of these issues on our community.
They will be shown in The Artists' Playground's, “Short Cutz”, new plays series. Each series will have a theme related to current issues throughout society. Organizations will be invited to speak, sign-up volunteers, distribute materials and solicit donations at these events.
If your organization would like to be considered for free or affordable, reduced rate services, contact us with your request. We will work hard to make photography services affordable for non-profits that impact our community.
